Windows Vista The Operating System: Introduction:- Microsoft released Windows Vista operating system, on January 30, 2007 in five years, before that the business version of this Operating system has been released in November 30, 2006. The codename "Longhorn," was replaced by Vista for the beta version of this operating system. There are a few new features which have been added like security improvements, new graphics, advanced multimedia capabilities and new ways of searching and organizing information and details. The presence of virtual folders will prevent users from keep on remembering the single folder where they stored something. It is obvious that Microsoft is trying to make things easier e.g. adding a PC to a home network or connecting to a projector. PCs having Vista installed require more memory than Windows XP. At least 1GB RAM is recommended for the smoother running of this operating system and 2GB‘ll be a safer bet. Windows Vista has six client versions.
